Ordu Obibuaku
Senior Associate & Managing Consultant
An international development consultant, leadership development and organisation transformation strategist with 25 years of global experience facilitating democratic governance, leadership and institutional change in over fifteen countries across three continents. With UNDP, Ordu has served as Institutional Transformation Adviser, Chief Technical Adviser on Change Management & Strategy, and Senior Adviser in the Prime Minister's Office across East, West and Southern Africa. Previously Programme Director at the UK National School of Government, he developed a collaborative action research framework with Cranfield University School of Management - Navigating Change: A Toolkit for Delivering Change in Public Services - used globally to support public sector transformation.
Margarita Aswani
Senior Associate
A seasoned international development professional with more than twenty years of executive leadership experience in philanthropy, fundraising strategy, and cross-sector partnership development. Most recently, Margarita led strategy and management for the Agricultural Development team at the Gates Foundation - overseeing portfolios exceeding $530M annually and securing more than $1 billion in philanthropic and institutional funding. She previously served as Chief of Party for USAID's largest food security investment in northeast Nigeria, reaching more than 500,000 farmers and scaling the programme from $30M to $49M. She holds an MA in International Affairs from American University, Washington DC.
Wilfred Mwamba
Senior Associate
A Principal at The Policy Practice (London network) and senior governance and political economy adviser with 26 years of experience supporting reform, leadership and learning across Africa and Asia. Currently holds senior strategic advisory roles for FCDO-funded programmes including the Deepening Democracy Facility in Zambia and FCDO's Global Land Governance Programme. He has led portfolios of up to GBP 160 million across FCDO and USAID, and is a Certified Senior Governance Adviser within the FCDO/HMG Governance Cadre across all seven competencies.
Jason Olson
Senior Associate
A governance expert and attorney with more than 25 years of experience advising governments, development partners, and international institutions on reform implementation and adaptive problem-solving. A specialist in Political Economy Analysis (PEA), Jason has served as adviser to the British Consul General in Jerusalem since 2014, and designed and delivered specialised PEA training for the British High Commission across Kenya and Somalia. He is widely recognised as an engaging public speaker and effective communicator.
Karen Alexander
Senior Associate
Governance and Accountability Lead at FHI 360 UK and a political economist with 20 years of experience supporting governance reform across complex and politically contested contexts. Her work focuses on building Thinking and Working Politically (TWP) capability within FCDO-funded and adaptive programmes, designing learning trajectories and practical tools that support teams to apply political economy analysis in real-time programming.
